Week
five has been so fun. The puppies are
eating solid puppy food. Dash is not into being the mom lately, they have such
sharp little teeth. We take them outside to explore, when the weather is nice,
in the middle of the day. Our puppies
love to sniff around, run, and soak in the sun. They cry a lot at night, but I have
bought them toys and Chewys to help with that now. They love to sleep in the
basket and still toys from there Grandma Rose.
We
have begun house breaking them. They use the puppy pads in the evening, I’m not
willing to wake up in the middle of the night that often. We take them outside
as soon as they wake up and after they eat.
Trying to get 11 puppies outside fast is hard but everyone pitches in so
they learn. The Puppies are catching on and always go Potty as soon as we set
them on the grass. We have to give them
more time to go #2, but they now will try before they come back up the stairs
to the house. German Shorthairs are very
smart dogs, if you give them the time, they will house break fast as long as
you stick with their needs.
